The Weyerhaeuser AuSable River Canoe Marathon is widely recognized as the "Longest, Richest,
Toughest Canoe Race in North America". The 2006 race saw new champions Al Limburg and
Jim Harwood dominate the late stages of the race and finish about fifteen minutes before the
second place team, brothers Ryan and Rodney Halstead.

The 45-minute video covers the entire 120-mile race, which starts in Grayling, MI at 9 PM,
and finishes in Oscoda, MI the following afternoon.

The video offers great insight into the growing sport of marathon style canoe racing, by highlighting
the technique of some of the world's best paddlers. It also helps explain why over fifty thousand
spectators follow this race every year.
Video is available on DVD or VHS.

The 2005 AuSable River Canoe Marathon DVD is still available.
